Three lanterns, one handsome post

The Norfolk 3 Light Lamp Post takes the classic hexagonal lantern head and gives you three of them, carried on curling scroll arms at the top of a fluted column. It has real presence, the kind of fitting that turns a driveway or entrance into something you notice, lit or not.

Black finish and leaded glass

Cast in a deep matte black, the post has a fluted shaft that narrows into a stepped, octagonal base, while each lantern head is finished with a decorative finial and glazed with diamond leaded glass on every side, five separate panes per lantern, held in place the traditional way.

How it works

Each of the three heads takes its own E27 lamp holder, so you can run all three together for a strong pool of light or fit dimmable LEDs with a suitable dimmer for something softer. Class I construction means it needs proper earthing when it is wired in, as with any permanent outdoor post light.

Where it works best

At 2.27m tall with a 60cm spread across the three arms, this is a light for a driveway, a generous front garden or either side of a gated entrance, somewhere it has room to stand and be admired rather than being squeezed against a wall.
