A Bubbled Glass Column That Puts the Bulb on Display

Morvah wraps its single bulb in a tall cylinder of bubbled glass, letting every seed and imperfection in the glass catch the light instead of hiding it behind a frosted diffuser. Set on a slim arm and circular backplate, it throws a soft, broken pool of light rather than one hard beam, which suits a bathroom mirror or a hallway wall equally well.

Polished Chrome and Bubbled Glass

This version is finished in a bright polished chrome that keeps the arm and backplate crisp and reflective, while the bubbled glass shade does the opposite job, scattering and softening whatever bulb you fit. The same design is also made in a nickel finish, useful if you are matching it to other fittings already in the room.

How it works

Morvah takes a single E27 bulb and leaves it fully visible through the glass, so a decorative filament style bulb will do most of the styling work. It is wired directly into the mains, rated Class I, and will dim if you fit a dimmable bulb, taking the light from a bright, practical level down to something softer for an evening bath.

Where it works best

With an IP44 rating, Morvah is built to handle bathroom steam and splashes, so it works well either side of a mirror or above a basin. It also suits a hallway, landing or bedroom where the same warm, textured glow is wanted without a bathroom rating being needed.
