The Glenbeigh wall lantern holds a full round globe out from the wall on a black scroll bracket, with a decorative finial rising above the shade. It's a traditional lantern shape sized to be seen clearly from the pavement or the end of a drive, not just up close by the door.

Black polymer and polycarbonate

The bracket, cage and canopy are moulded in black polymer rather than cast metal, chosen for how well it stands up to rain, salt air and UV without rusting or fading outdoors. The globe itself is opal polycarbonate rather than glass, so it stays evenly bright and won't crack the way glass can in a hard frost.

How it works

Glenbeigh takes a single E27 bulb, which isn't included, and is dimmable if you fit a dimmable lamp. Wiring is to Class II double insulated standards, so no earth connection is needed, and the fitting is IP44 rated for outdoor use. It mounts via the integral wall bracket onto a standard backplate.

Where it works best

Its size and the way the globe throws light in every direction suit a front door approached from a driveway or path, a garage or outbuilding wall, or either side of a gate, anywhere you want a genuine landmark rather than a discreet accent light.
