A wall mounted take on old harbour lighting

The Copenhagen Single Wall Lantern steps down through a flared metal cap and cage to a rounded glass globe at the bottom, echoing the shape of old fashioned quayside lanterns. It reaches out from the wall on a simple straight arm and circular back plate, so the lantern head sits with a bit of depth rather than flush against the brick.

Silver finish

Made from 304 grade stainless steel, it is powder coated in a cool Silver with a slightly metallic sheen rather than a flat painted look. That paler tone tends to stand out well against dark render, brick, or timber cladding, where a black fitting could get lost. The clear glass globe leaves the bulb fully visible and spreads light generously in every direction.

How it works

One bulb sits inside the glass globe, and being fixed straight to the wall rather than hung on a chain, it works well as a direct replacement for an existing porch, entrance, or garage light.

Where it works best

Fit it either side of a front door or garage for a matching pair, or use it singly beside an entrance. Its clean, pared back lines suit coastal, contemporary, and Scandinavian style properties particularly well.
