The taller take on a bathroom classic
A tall, smooth glass shade flares out like a trumpet vase, taller and plainer than the ribbed version in the same Carroll family, so more of the light source shows through the clear glass. It sits on a reeded chrome column with a decorative finial beneath, giving the fitting some presence even before it is switched on.
How it works
The polished chrome arm curves out from a stepped wall rose to hold the shade clear of the wall, and the extra height means the bulb sits further down inside the glass than on the standard single light. It is IP44 rated for bathroom use and wired to Class I standard.
Where it works best
The added height suits a taller run of wall, either side of a large mirror or above a countertop basin, where the extra scale balances the space rather than getting lost against it.
