Bowtie's two light flush mount sits close against the ceiling rather than dropping down on a rod or chain. A shallow drum shaped shade flares gently outward from a narrow collar, with an opal glass diffuser tucked underneath so the two bulbs read as one soft, even wash of light rather than two separate points.

The shade is steel, finished in a flat matte black that keeps its texture rather than turning glossy, with a small centre knob in the same finish holding the opal glass diffuser in place beneath it. The glass itself is a soft, milky opal, not clear or ribbed, so it diffuses the light rather than showing the bulbs behind it.

How It Works

Two E14 bulbs sit inside the shade, wired to Class I standards, with the opal glass beneath spreading their output evenly across the room instead of throwing two distinct pools of light. Fit dimmable E14 bulbs and it will dim on a compatible dimmer switch, useful for bringing the level down in the evening. Bulbs are not included.

Where It Works Best

With no pendant drop, Bowtie suits rooms where ceiling height is tight, a landing, a hallway, or a downstairs cloakroom, anywhere a hanging pendant would sit too low.
