Elstead Baltimore Single Medium Half Lantern - Weathered Bronze

A watchful glow by the door

Cast in aluminium and finished in weathered bronze, the Baltimore Half Lantern has the silhouette of an old carriage light, tapering glass sides, a crown of scrollwork and curling feet beneath. The flat back sits close against the wall, so it reads as a proper lantern from the path without eating into a porch or passageway.

Amber glass, one finish

Amber tinted glass panels warm the light and soften the view of the fitting when it is off, while the bronze casting shows soft copper highlights across its scrolls and ridges. This half lantern comes in the one weathered bronze finish, sized to sit comfortably over a door or beside a gate.

How it works

Wall mounted with the single lamp holder set behind the glass, the fitting throws a pool of warm light downward and out rather than up into windows or bedrooms above.

Where it works best

Look to it for front doors, side passages and porches, anywhere a period lantern would have hung, and anywhere a bit of weather resistant light matters after dark.
