Snow Flecked Glass for a Softer Glow

Instead of clear glass, this Dene pendant uses a two tone shade in white with a scattering of snow like specks through it, giving a much softer, more diffused light than the plain glass versions. Set against the satin black frame, the white glass stands out nicely and hides the bulb from direct view, so what you get is an even glow rather than a visible point of light.

Choosing Your Finish

Here the satin black frame is matched with the white speckled glass shade, a pairing that gives a bit more contrast than an all clear glass version. It suits rooms where you want the fitting itself to be a little more noticeable. As with the rest of the Dene design, other finishes and glass styles are available if you'd rather go with something different.

How It Works

One G9 bulb, 10W maximum, is required and not included with the fitting. It can be dimmed if you fit dimmable G9 bulbs and use a compatible dimmer switch. Electrically it's Class I, so an earth connection is necessary, and the IP44 rating means it's protected against water splashing on it from any direction, suiting rooms where moisture is part of daily use.

Where It Works Best

Because it carries an IP44 rating, this pendant is fine for bathroom zones 1 and 2, such as above a basin or to the side of a mirror.
