This Dene pendant pairs a satin black fitting with a smooth round shade in a smoky tinted glass, giving off a soft, diffused glow rather than a hard beam. It takes a single E27 lamp, so you have plenty of choice when it comes to bulb shape and warmth, and the rounded silhouette suits both traditional and more contemporary ceilings without looking out of place.
It carries an IP44 rating, which means it's suitable for bathroom zones 1 and 2 as well as everyday rooms like hallways, bedrooms, and living rooms. Hung singly over a console table or grouped in twos or threes above a run of worktop, it adds a quiet bit of character to the room.
