This tubular Dene pendant is finished in smooth opal glass, which spreads the light evenly rather than letting it shine directly through as the clearer glass options do. Set into a satin black fitting, it gives a gentle, softly lit glow that's easy to live with day to day.

Here the tubular shade is done in a smooth opal glass, paired with the same satin black fitting used across the Dene range. The tubular shape is also available in other glass finishes, so if opal feels too soft for your scheme, there are alternatives to look at within the range.
How It Works
Inside is a single G9 bulb, 10W maximum, not included, and the opal glass does a good job of diffusing whatever bulb you choose evenly across the shade. It's dimmable provided you fit dimmable G9 lamps and a compatible dimmer switch. Electrically it's Class I, requiring an earth connection, and the IP44 rating means it's protected against splashing water from any direction.

With its IP44 rating, this pendant is suitable for bathroom zones 1 and 2, so it can be fitted beside a mirror or above a landing without concern.
