Here the Dene pendant comes with a smooth round opal glass shade on the satin black frame, giving a softer, more diffused light than a clear shade would. It is a single light fitting carrying an IP44 rating, so it has been built with damp and steam resistant areas in mind rather than dry rooms only. The opal glass hides the lamp itself and spreads the light more evenly around the room.
With its IP44 rating, this pendant is safe for bathroom zones 1 and 2, so it can go above a sink or bath as well as anywhere else such as a hallway, kitchen, or bedroom. The soft glow from the opal glass makes it a gentle option for spaces where you do not want too harsh a light.
