The fitting takes a single G9 bulb, 10W maximum, which isn't supplied. Choose dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch if you'd like to adjust the brightness. It's built to Class I electrical standards, meaning it requires an earth connection, and its IP44 rating protects it against splashing water from any direction, so it can be used confidently in a room with a sink or shower nearby.
