This version of the Dene pendant pairs the satin black frame with a smooth round clear glass shade, so the lamp inside stays fully on show. It is a single light fitting with an IP44 rating, which means it is rated for use in damper areas of the home and not just standard living spaces. The clear glass keeps the light output bright and unfiltered, which suits task areas as well as general room lighting.
Given the IP44 rating, it is safe to use in bathroom zones 1 and 2, making it a good option above a mirror or sink as well as in a hallway, kitchen, or bedroom elsewhere in the house. The satin black frame keeps the whole fitting looking tidy and unobtrusive.
