One G9 bulb holder is fitted inside the shade, taking a single bulb rated up to 10W (bulbs not included). It can be dimmed provided you use a dimmable G9 bulb with a suitable dimmer switch. Electrically it's rated Class I, so it needs to be earthed on installation, and its IP44 rating means it's protected against water splashing from any direction.
