The fitting is wired to Class I electrical standards, meaning it needs an earth connection as part of installation, and it carries an IP44 rating, protecting it against splashing water from any angle.

Thanks to that IP44 rating, this pendant is suitable for bathroom zones 1 and 2, so it can go up above a sink or vanity unit as comfortably as anywhere else.
