A single G9 lamp holder sits inside the shade, taking one bulb rated up to 10W (bulbs not included). It's dimmable, provided you fit dimmable lamps and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch. Electrically it's Class I, so it needs to be wired with an earth connection. The IP44 rating means it's protected against water splashing from any angle, which is what allows it to be fitted in wetter parts of a bathroom.
