The fitting runs on a single G9 bulb, 10W maximum, and you'll need to add your own as none is included. It's dimmable as long as you fit a dimmable G9 bulb and use it with a suitable dimmer switch. Electrically it's built to Class I standard, so it needs an earth connection when wired in. Being IP44 rated, it's protected against splashing water from any direction, which gives it a bit more flexibility around sinks and washing areas.
