Segmented Opal Glass on a Black Curved Arm

A satin black arm curves neatly away from the wall to hold a round opal glass shade, divided into clean segments rather than left as one plain dome. The opal glass takes the edge off the bulb completely, so what you get is an even, soft glow with no visible hot spot, set against the understated black frame.

The frame here is a satin black, matte rather than glossy, which keeps the whole fitting looking calm and contemporary next to the pale segmented glass. How It Works

One G9 bulb is needed, 10W maximum, not included with the fitting. It can be dimmed provided you fit dimmable lamps and pair it with a suitable dimmer switch. The electrics are built to Class I standard, meaning an earth connection is required. Its IP44 rating protects against water splashed from any direction, which is why it can go up close to a basin or shower area.

Where It Works Best

With that IP44 rating, this light is fine for bathroom zones 1 and 2, so it can be mounted either side of a mirror or above a vanity unit.
