Takes one G9 bulb, 10W maximum, which is not included. It is dimmable when used with dimmable lamps and a suitable dimmer switch. The fitting is built to Class I electrical standard, so it requires an earth connection as part of installation. Its IP44 rating gives protection against water splashed from any direction, making it suitable for damp areas as well as dry ones.
