Three Smoked Shades on a Black Ring

Instead of clear or opal glass, this Deacon pendant uses three smoke tinted diffusers around its G9 lamps, giving a darker, more atmospheric light than you'd get from plain glass. The satin black frame ties the three shades together into one neat circular shape overhead.

Choosing Your Finish

The frame here is finished in a matte, satin black that won't catch too much glare or reflection. Other finishes exist elsewhere across the Deacon range, so there's room to switch things up if black doesn't suit your scheme.

How It Works

Three G9 lamps power this fitting, each one rated to 10W maximum and not included in the box. Fit dimmable G9 lamps with a suitable dimmer switch if you'd like to adjust the light level through the evening. It's built to Class I electrical standards, meaning an earth connection is required, and its IP20 rating means it's intended for dry indoor rooms only.

Where It Works Best

Given the IP20 rating, keep this one out of bathrooms and anywhere damp. It's a strong option over a dining table, in a living room where you want a bit of drama, or in a bedroom, with the drop easily adjusted to suit ceiling height.
