The WL342 sends light down onto a step and out sideways at the same time through its asymmetric lens, useful for lighting a tread and the walkway beyond it from a single fitting, whether mounted low on a wall or set into the ground. It shares its optics with the WL340 and WL341 but comes in a brushed finish.
Running straight to mains at 2.6W through a 50 degree beam, it gives 49 to 50 lumens depending on colour temperature, around 19 lumens per watt, in 3000K or 4000K, with 2700K available to special order. The driver is integral, so it's a direct mains connection, wired in parallel.
Built from stainless steel 316 with an antique brass option, it's IP65 rated and genuinely walk over rated, with 5mm toughened glass for durability. It comes complete with an installation tube for fitting into soil or stone, and carries a 7 year warranty. 2700K needs a 90 day lead time and minimum quantities.
