The WL340 is an asymmetric step light housed in solid antique brass with a 5mm toughened glass lens, built to resist corrosion even in coastal locations. Its asymmetric lens throws light both downward and horizontally at a 50 degree beam angle, which is what makes it work well on steps and walkways where you want the tread lit as well as a bit of horizontal spread.
It runs at 2.6W and is available in 2700K or 3000K, giving around 49 to 50 lumens depending on the colour temperature chosen. It's wired straight to mains, so there's no separate driver needed, and it's built into the ground with the supplied installation tube, which also gives a neat finish when set into stone paving.
Set into the ground it can also be angled to wash light up a wall, useful for lighting the front of a building at low level. It's IP65 rated for permanent outdoor use, made from 316 stainless steel internally with the brass housing, and the LED is built in and not user replaceable. It carries a 7 year warranty; note it has a 90 day lead time with minimum order quantities.
