Two Effects From One Compact Wall Light
The WL060 does two jobs from a single body. A soft halo of light glows around the middle of the fitting for a decorative touch, while a wider flood spreads down the wall below it for genuine, useful light. It is a neat trick that most single effect wall lights cannot manage, and it means one fitting can dress a wall and light a path at the same time.
Anodised Aluminium, Built For Outside
This version comes in anodised aluminium, giving the cylindrical body a cool, brushed silver finish that reads as understated rather than shiny. It sits well against brick, render, timber cladding or painted stone, and it pairs naturally with matt black door furniture or stainless steel house numbers if you are putting together a coordinated exterior look.
How It Works
The WL060 wires straight to the mains, so there is no separate driver to find space for anywhere in the wall or loft void. Inside, a 2.6W integrated LED runs at 3000K warm white, giving out 58 lumens across a beam angle of 110 degrees, enough to wash a good spread of wall and ground without overpowering it. It is Class I and carries a CRI of 80, so colours under it look natural rather than washed out. Everything needed for the install is in the box, including wall fixings and waterproof crimp connectors, though the fitting is not dimmable.
Where It Works Best
It is designed for use either side of a front door, along a garden wall, or spaced out down a hallway or passageway where you want ambient light rather than a single bright source. With an IP65 rating it copes with rain and damp equally well outdoors or in, so it also suits a garage, a covered porch or an exposed side return.
