A sealed join between two runs of LSNT neon strip
When a line of Collingwood's LSNT top bend neon strip has to carry on past the end of one cut length, this is the part that joins the two together. It is a strip to strip connector, part code LSNT1312SS, sized specifically for the 13x12mm LSNT profile. Each cut end seats into its own side of the housing and the join closes up tight, so the lit line reads as one continuous run instead of two pieces pushed up against each other.

Clear polycarbonate body with steel contacts
The housing is transparent polycarbonate, which turns out to be genuinely useful rather than just a styling decision. You can see the contacts seated against the strip before you close everything up and switch on. Inside are steel contacts that press onto the conductors in the strip. There is no finish to choose and nothing decorative here. The clear body more or less vanishes between the two silicone neon lengths it sits between, and any part of it that shows behind a cove or a trim reads as a small glassy block rather than a lump of coloured plastic. One thing to check before ordering: this part is specified for the LSNT top bend profile, and Collingwood lists a separate strip to strip connector for the LSNS side bend profile.
How It Works
Both strip ends need to be cut squarely at one of the marked cut points, which fall every 50mm along LSNT. The connector opens, each cut end goes into one side of the housing, and the assembly clamps shut so the internal contacts meet the conductors in the strip. That is what carries the supply across the join, so there is no soldering and no intermediate cable to hide. It ships with the small sealing inserts and the contact carrier shown in the product photography, which are the pieces that close the housing and keep the joint watertight. Being a strip to strip part, it passes power straight through in a single line. Where It Works Best
This connector belongs anywhere a neon run is longer than a single cut length, or where a continuous line has to be built up from several pieces. Ceiling coves and coffers are the obvious one, where the strip follows the whole perimeter of a room and one length will not reach. Stair nosings, handrail undersides, kitchen plinths and shelf edges usually need a join or two as well, and joining rather than starting a fresh run keeps the number of driver feeds down.
The IP67 seal means it is just as at home on an outdoor run, under a soffit, along a boundary wall or around a canopy, where an unsealed join would let water into the track quickly. It is also the right part for a repair. If a section of an existing LSNT run has been damaged, that section can be cut out and the two good ends rejoined rather than replacing the whole length.
