Stepbeam is a compact asymmetrical step light with a twist-and-lock bezel system, so you can swap the faceplate without pulling the fitting out of the wall. It runs at a fixed 2.7W and 3000K, putting out 28 lumens through the half circle and slot bezels or 65 lumens through the circle bezel, depending on which faceplate you fit. The driver is built into the fitting, so there's nothing extra to wire in, and it works with leading and trailing edge phase cut dimmers if you want it on a dimmer circuit.
The bezel is magnetic and interchangeable, available in round or square shapes with circle, half circle, or slot openings, and finished in black, white, or satin chrome powder coat from AkzoNobel. Because the faceplate can be fitted after decorating, it's a tidy option for staircases and corridors where you want light spilling across a step rather than a beam pointing at the floor.
It's IP54 rated, which covers indoor use including bathrooms, and comes from a die-cast aluminium body with a 45mm cut out. Collingwood backs it with a 5 year warranty.
