LSV42 is Collingwood's low profile LED strip, a slim run of white tape that bends around corners, tucks into coving and hides under cabinets without ever showing a bulb or fitting. It comes as a 5 metre reel, ready to cut down to the exact length your project needs.

White tape, three shades of white light

The strip itself is finished in white and just 8mm wide, so it disappears into the space rather than drawing attention to itself. You can choose between 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, giving a warm amber glow, a soft white, or a cooler daylight tone. Output runs from 410 lumens per metre at 2700K up to 480 lumens per metre at 4000K, all from the same 4.8W per metre draw.

How It Works

• Runs on low voltage 24V DC, so it needs a separate driver such as Collingwood's PS3024B or PSIP15024, which is not included.
• Wired in parallel, with a 500mm flying lead at one end ready for connection.
• Cut points are marked every 100mm, so the strip can be trimmed to fit your run exactly.
• A self adhesive backing holds it in place once you have chosen the length.
• Dimmable when paired with a compatible driver, check the specification sheet for the right match.

Where It Works Best

This strip earns its keep anywhere you want light without a visible fitting. Think under kitchen worktops and inside cabinets, along a run of coving, tucked behind a bathroom mirror, or lighting the treads on a staircase. Because it's rated IP44, it can handle the odd splash, which makes it a sensible choice for kitchens and bathrooms as well as living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and offices.
