A Steady Power Supply for Longer LED Runs
Some LED installations outgrow a single small driver pretty quickly. Once you are running a long stretch of Collingwood LED strip, or feeding several 24V fittings from one point, you need something with a bit more headroom. The LSD6024 is built for exactly that job.
The 60W, 24V Version
This is the 60W output version of Collingwood's constant voltage driver range, matched to 24V fittings and strip. It measures 180mm by 52mm by 30mm and weighs approximately 0.3kg, small enough to tuck out of sight above a ceiling or inside a cupboard. The casing is polycarbonate and the unit is Class II rated, so it does not need an earth connection.
How It Works
The driver takes a standard mains supply and converts it to a steady 24V DC output, up to 60W. Add up the wattage of everything you plan to connect, strip, connectors, fittings, and keep the total under 60W so the driver is not overloaded. On its own it runs at a fixed output. To dim the connected strip or fittings, you also need Collingwood's PDCINT1-10V interface, sold separately, which handles the 1 to 10V dimming signal.
Where It Works Best
Because it's IP20 rated, this driver belongs somewhere dry indoors, not anywhere exposed to rain or damp. Lofts, ceiling voids, plant rooms and cupboards are typical spots, anywhere it can sit protected while it feeds power out to strip or fittings elsewhere in the room. It suits projects where you are lighting a run of kitchen units, a stretch of coving, or several small 24V fittings from a single, centrally placed supply.
About Collingwood Lighting
Collingwood Lighting designs and manufactures its LED products from Sywell in Northamptonshire, and has specialised in LED technology since 2002. Drivers like this one sit within a wider LED strip and low voltage system the brand has built up over that time, rather than standing as a one off accessory. Collingwood has also been awarded a Gold medal by EcoVadis, placing it in the top 5% of companies assessed globally for sustainability.

Questions People Ask
Will this dim my LED strip on its own?
No. On its own the LSD6024 runs at a fixed 24V output. You also need Collingwood's PDCINT1-10V interface to get 1 to 10V dimming.
Can I use this outdoors?
No. It's IP20 rated, meaning it's designed for dry indoor locations such as a loft, cupboard or ceiling void, not anywhere exposed to moisture.
How much LED strip or how many fittings can it power?
Add up the total wattage of everything you want to connect and keep it under 60W, the maximum this driver can supply.
Does it need an earth connection?
No. It's Class II rated and double insulated, so no earth connection is required.
