One Connection Point for Six Downlights
Wiring a run of LED LYTE mini downlights back to a driver one at a time gets messy fast, especially once you're past two or three fittings. This 6 way extension lead solves that by giving you a single junction box with six sockets, so a whole cluster of LYTE fittings can wire back to one point instead of six separate connections.
The 1m, 6 Way Version
This version runs a 1 metre lead from the input connector to a small plastic junction box measuring 50mm long, 28mm wide and 12mm high. From that box, six output sockets are ready to take a LED LYTE fitting each, using simple push fit connectors rather than stripped wires or twisted joints.
How It Works
The six sockets are wired in series, so power passes from the input lead through each connected fitting in turn. Plug a LED LYTE fitting into a socket, or fit a blanking plug into any socket you're not using, so the run is completed whether you're fitting all six or fewer.
Where It Works Best
Reach for this lead whenever you're installing an array of LED LYTE mini downlights from a single feed, such as a row of flush fittings across a kitchen ceiling, a bank of display or cabinet lighting, or a cluster of accent downlights in a hallway or landing. It keeps the wiring at one central point instead of running six separate connections back to the driver.

Up to six. Each of the six sockets takes one LED LYTE fitting.
What happens to sockets I'm not using?
Fit a blanking plug into any unused socket to complete the run. Leaving a socket empty breaks the circuit to the rest of the fittings.
