The Halo is a round wall light that throws its glow out in a full circle rather than a single beam, softening the edges of a doorway or entrance rather than just lighting the step below it. Finished in anthracite grey, it reads as a quiet architectural detail by day and a steady ring of light once it's switched on.

This version is built from polycarbonate finished in anthracite grey, a dark charcoal tone that sits comfortably against brick, render or timber cladding without drawing attention to itself during the day. It measures 275mm across and 67mm deep, and weighs 1kg, giving it enough presence to read clearly on a wall without looking oversized.

How It Works

The Halo runs at 12W with a 100 degree beam spread and an 80 CRI, and its colour temperature can be switched on site between 3000K, 4000K and 5700K, so one fitting covers warm, neutral or cool white depending on what a job needs. It wires straight to the mains with no separate driver to fit, and it's wired in parallel, which matters if several Halo fittings are being linked together along the same run. It isn't dimmable. This product is also available with an integral microwave sensor, which switches the light off during daylight and when nothing's moving nearby, useful anywhere it doesn't need to stay lit all night.

Where It Works Best

With an IP65 rating and IK10 impact resistance, the Halo is built to stay outside and take a knock, which suits exterior walls at house entrances, garden boundary walls and gateways. The same toughness makes it a practical choice for commercial entrances, stairwells and walkways, where the optional microwave sensor also helps keep energy use down on a fitting that might otherwise run all night. Questions People Ask

What's the difference between the sensor and no sensor versions?
The sensor version has an integral microwave sensor built in, which switches the light off during daylight and when nothing's moving nearby. The no sensor version stays on whatever switch it's wired to, with no automatic control.

Can the colour temperature be changed after it's installed?
Yes. The Halo's colour temperature is switchable on site between 3000K, 4000K and 5700K, so it can be adjusted after fitting without swapping the fitting itself.

Is the Halo dimmable?
No. This fitting runs at a fixed output and isn't designed to work with a dimmer switch.
