A Downlight That Adapts After It's Fitted
The Collingwood H5 500 is a recessed downlight that gives you the colour temperature choice at the point of installation, not before. A switch on top of the fitting lets you pick warm white, soft white or cool white once it's wired in, so there's no guessing which lamp box to order.
White Bezel with a Satin Chrome Reflector
This version has a crisp white outer bezel paired with a satin chrome reflector cone, a finish that reads as neat and modern rather than clinical. The reflector also tilts, so the light itself can be angled slightly away from straight down once the fitting is in place.
How It Works
- A CCT switch on top of the fitting sets the colour temperature to 2700K, 3000K or 4000K.
- Runs at 5W with a 50 degree beam angle and CRI80 colour rendering.
- The reflector tilts up to 20 degrees, letting you angle the beam after fitting to wash a wall or pick out a feature.
- Mains dimmable, with no separate driver to fit or hide above the ceiling.
- Cutout is 110 to 115mm, so it suits most standard downlight housings.
Where It Works Best
Because it's rated IP65 and safe for bathroom zone 1 from the ceiling, this downlight covers rooms other spotlights can't. It works equally well in a living room or bedroom for general lighting, in a kitchen or hallway where a tighter beam is useful, and in bathrooms, home offices or commercial spaces that need something more robust than a standard indoor fitting.

Can I change the colour temperature after it's installed? Yes. The CCT switch is on top of the fitting, so the colour temperature between 2700K, 3000K and 4000K can be set or changed at any point, not just before wiring it in.
Does this downlight need a separate driver? No. It runs directly from the mains and is mains dimmable, so there's no driver to fit or hide in the ceiling void.
Can this downlight be used in a bathroom? Yes, it's rated IP65 and suitable for bathroom zone 1 when mounted in the ceiling.
