A downlight that actually points where you need it

Most fixed downlights throw light straight down and that's it. The H4 Lite tilts up to 20 degrees, so you can angle it over a worktop, along a hallway wall, or onto a picture instead of just lighting the floor beneath it. It's a small adjustment that makes a real difference once the ceiling is closed up and you can't move the fitting itself.

Matt black, bezel included

This version comes finished in matt black with the bezel already fitted, so there's no separate trim to source or match up afterwards. The black surround sits close against a painted or dark ceiling and reads as neat and recessed rather than drawing attention to itself.

How It Works

• Integrated LED rated at 4.3W, with the driver built into the fitting itself, so there's no separate transformer to fit above the ceiling
• Available in 3000K warm white or 4000K cool white, chosen at the point of ordering
• 55 degree beam angle with up to 20 degrees of tilt, so you can angle the light without moving the fitting
• TRIAC mains dimmable, so it works with standard dimmer switches already fitted in most UK homes
• Two part Easy-Fit connector lets an electrician wire the ceiling plate in first and click the light into place afterwards
• Wired in parallel, so a run of these downlights can be installed without voltage dropping off along the circuit

Where It Works Best

The tilt is what earns this one its keep. Use it over a kitchen worktop where a fixed downlight would leave a shadow, along a hallway to wash light across the wall rather than straight down the middle of the floor, or angled onto a shelf or piece of art in a living room. It's rated for bathroom zone 1, so it also works well on a bathroom ceiling near the bath or shower, as well as in bedrooms, dining rooms, offices and small commercial spaces.
