A downlight built to disappear into the ceiling
The H2 Lite is designed to sit flush and do its job quietly. At just 46mm deep, it fits into ceiling voids that would rule out bulkier downlights, and because it's fixed rather than adjustable, it gives a clean, uniform look when you're fitting several across a room.
Finished in matt black
This version comes in a matt black finish with the bezel included, so there's nothing extra to source before fitting. The black trim reads as a deliberate design choice rather than just a fixture, and it works well against dark ceilings or as a contrast point on white. You can choose between a 3000K warm white or a 4000K cool white light output, so pick whichever suits the room's existing colour scheme.
How It Works
The H2 Lite runs on 4.3W and has the driver built in, so there's no separate driver unit to find space for above the ceiling. It's wired in parallel, so each downlight works independently rather than being linked in a chain, and it's compatible with standard TRIAC mains dimmers if you want to dial the light up or down. With a 55° beam angle, it throws a wide, even spread of light rather than a tight spot.
Where It Works Best
Because it's fire rated and IP65 rated from below, the H2 Lite is approved for bathroom zone 1, so it's a sound choice above a shower or bath as well as in hallways, kitchens and living spaces. Its low profile makes it useful in rooms with a shallow ceiling void, like extensions, loft conversions or older properties where there isn't much room above the plasterboard. Being fixed rather than adjustable, it suits general room lighting rather than feature or accent lighting.
