A Downlight Built to Fit Where Others Can't
The H2 Lite is a fixed downlight designed around a genuinely shallow body, just 46mm deep, so it fits into ceiling voids that would leave deeper downlights sitting proud or simply not fitting at all. The bezel, LED and driver all come as one complete unit, so there is nothing extra to source before you start fitting it.
The Brushed Steel Finish
This version comes with a brushed steel bezel included as standard, giving a soft, understated metal finish rather than a bright, polished look. It sits quietly in a ceiling without drawing attention to itself, and works well anywhere you already have brushed metal switches, taps or handles nearby.
How It Works
- Runs at 4.3W with an efficacy of up to 114 lumens per watt, so it gives a useful amount of light for very little power.
- Available in 3000K warm white or 4000K cool white.
- CRI80 colour rendering, giving a reasonable level of colour accuracy for everyday rooms.
- A 55° beam angle spreads light broadly rather than throwing a tight spot.
- Mains dimmable using a standard trailing edge (triac) dimmer, so no separate dimming module is needed.
- The driver is built into the fitting itself, so there is no separate driver to source or wire in.
- Wired in parallel using Collingwood's two part Easy-Fit connector, which speeds up both first and second fix.
- Takes a 64 to 72mm cut out, with the fitting itself measuring 90mm across and 46mm deep.
Where It Works Best
Because it is rated IP65 when viewed from below and IP20 from above, this downlight copes with the light moisture of a bathroom or kitchen without needing a fully sealed fire hood. Its shallow 46mm depth also makes it a sensible choice for lofts, extensions or older ceilings where the void above is limited, and it is fire rated, insulation coverable and approved for use with I-joist ceiling constructions, so tight or awkward joist spacing should not rule it out. It suits living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, dining rooms, hallways and home offices.
