This surface mounted 1901 spotlight combines a white housing with a black baffle, fixing directly onto the ceiling so there's no cutting involved. The head tilts 90° and rotates a full 360°, making it easy to aim at a feature wall, artwork or shelving once it's wired in.
It's built around the standard 9.6W 1901 engine, with a choice of 2700K extra warm white at around 600 lumens, 3000K warm white at around 625 to 650 lumens, or 4000K cool white at around 725 to 750 lumens, plus a dim to warm option down to 1800K, all at CRI90+. Beam angle is a choice of 12°, 24° or 50°, and mains, 1-10V or DALI dimming is handled by a driver that comes supplied with the fitting, wired in via cable.
It's IP44 rated, so it's fine for bathroom zone 2 as well as living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms, hallways, offices, stairwells and commercial spaces. These fittings aren't fire rated on their own, so Collingwood recommends their BDLFH2 fire hood where one's needed. It comes with a 7 year warranty and, being made to order, is sold on a non-returnable basis.
