This is the surface mounted spotlight from Collingwood's 1901 range, all white, fixing directly to the ceiling rather than needing any cut out at all. The head rotates a full 360° and tilts 90°, so it's easy to point at whatever you're trying to highlight, whether that's a piece of art, a bookcase or a section of wall.
It runs at 9.6W with a choice of 2700K extra warm white at around 600 lumens, 3000K warm white at around 625 to 650 lumens, or 4000K cool white at around 725 to 750 lumens, plus a dim to warm option that fades down to 1800K, all at CRI90+. Beam angle is a choice of 12°, 24° or 50°, and dimming, mains, 1-10V or DALI, is handled by a driver supplied with the fitting and wired in via cable.
It's rated IP44, so it's suitable for bathroom zone 2 as well as living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms, hallways, offices, stairwells and commercial spaces. These fittings aren't fire rated on their own, so Collingwood recommends adding their BDLFH2 fire hood where one is needed. It comes with a 7 year warranty and, being made to order, is sold on a non-returnable basis.
