The 1901 Fixed Round Downlight is Collingwood's straightforward answer to a downlight that just does its job. Unlike the adjustable version in the same range, the head doesn't tilt or rotate, so once it's fitted it stays put, keeping a run of ceiling lights looking uniform where you don't need to redirect the beam later.

Finished All White, Built From Aluminium

This version is finished throughout in white aluminium, housing and trim included, so it sits flush against a white ceiling with no contrasting ring to break up the line. The cutout ranges from 65 to 78mm, which covers most standard downlight holes without needing to enlarge them.

How It Works

It runs at 9.6W total and comes with a choice of beam angle, 12°, 24° or 50°, depending on how tight or wide a spread you want from each fitting. Colour temperature is fixed per variant: 2700K extra warm white at around 600 lumens, 3000K warm white at around 625 to 650 lumens, or 4000K cool white at around 725 to 750 lumens, plus a dim to warm option that drifts down toward 1800K as it dims, similar to how a halogen bulb fades. CRI90+ keeps colours reading true under any of them. Dimming runs through mains, 1 to 10V or DALI, depending on the driver fitted, which is supplied with the fixture and wired in via cable.

It comes in a choice of IP44 or IP65, so you can match the rating to the room. The IP65 version is rated for bathroom zone 1, as well as living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms, hallways, offices and stairwells, making it one fitting that can run consistently through a whole house including wet rooms.
