Some downlights need adjusting once they are fitted. This one does not. The 1901 Fixed Round Downlight sits flush in the ceiling and points straight down for good, which is exactly what you want when you are lighting a hallway, kitchen worktop or bathroom evenly across the whole room rather than aiming light at one spot.

Finish and Build

This version comes in all black, with a black aluminium body and a black bezel that sits close to the ceiling once fitted. The cutout is small, just 65 to 78mm, so it suits tighter ceiling voids and sits neatly in a flat ceiling without drawing attention to itself.

How It Works

Inside is a 9.6W LED engine rated at CRI90+, so colours read true under it. You can choose between 2700K extra warm white, 3000K warm white, 4000K cool white or a dim to warm option that shifts down to 1800K as the lights are lowered. Beam angle is set at the point of order too, with 12°, 24° or 50° options depending on how tight or wide you want the spread. The driver comes supplied and wired in via cable, and depending on which one you choose it will dim over mains, 1 to 10V or DALI.
