How It Works

This is a 3 way intermediate toggle, rated 10AX at 220 to 250V AC, 50Hz, tested to BS EN 60669. It is wired between two ordinary 2 way switches rather than working alone, which is what allows the same light to be switched from three or more separate locations along a landing, staircase or hallway.

Where It Works Best

Fit this in the middle of a run where a light needs switching from more than two points, a staircase with switches top and bottom plus a landing, or a long corridor with entrances at each end. If you only need a single switching point, the standard 2 way toggle is the simpler fit.
