A Continuous Ring of Light

The Roda S/150/V sits between the smaller S/120 and the larger S/200 in Bover's Roda family. At 1500mm across, it's large enough to anchor a dining table or kitchen island, without asking for the extra ceiling height a bigger fitting would need. A slim aluminium ring hides a continuous LED strip behind a diffuser, so the light reads as one even halo rather than a row of separate points.

Cream or White, Brown Throughout

Both versions of the S/150/V share the same brown frame. The choice comes down to the diffuser: cream gives the glow a warmer, softer cast, while white keeps it cleaner and slightly brighter. Either way, the ring itself stays the focus, and the frame simply holds it in place.

How It Works

Behind the diffuser sits an integrated LED strip rated at 66W and 2910 lumens, at a warm 2700K colour temperature with a CRI of 90 for accurate colour rendering. It's compatible with 1 to 10V dimming, so brightness can be tuned to the room. The pendant drops up to 2000mm from a 300mm diameter ceiling plate, and can be installed with either a recessed or surface mounted ceiling rose.

Where It Works Best

Its scale suits dining rooms and hallways where one strong shape overhead makes more sense than several smaller fittings. Hang it centrally over a table, or line up two S/150/V pendants above a longer table or kitchen island for a more dramatic run of light.

Bover was founded in Barcelona in 1996, when Joana Bover first sketched a design for an architect friend's project. Design and production have stayed in Spain ever since, based in Cardedeu near Barcelona. The brand's output ranges from clean, geometric pieces like the Roda family to the intricately hand woven wood and fibre designs it's equally known for, all carrying a shared Mediterranean sensibility.
