The Roda PF/200 is a large ring shaped light built for spaces that need real scale, a two metre circle designed for double height entrances, wide stairwells or open plan living areas where a smaller fitting would get lost. Its clean, unbroken circle reads as much like architecture as lighting.

Two Diffuser Tones: Cream or White

Both versions share the same brown frame, so the decision comes down to the diffuser. Cream gives the ring a warmer, softer glow that suits a more traditional or layered scheme, while white keeps the circle crisp and neutral against contemporary architecture. Either way, the ribbon diffuser spreads the light evenly around the full 2000mm span rather than letting it pool in one spot.

How It Works

An aluminium ring traces the inner edge of the shade, housing an integrated LED rated at 93W and 4100 lumens in a warm 2700K white with a CRI of 90 for accurate colour rendering. The system runs on 1-10V dimming, so it's built to work with architectural dimming controls rather than a simple domestic dimmer switch. The Roda PF/200 can be installed as either a ceiling light or a wall light, and it ships with two lengths of spacer tube so multiple units can be linked together into a single run, useful for longer corridors or feature walls.

Its scale and dual mounting options suit dining rooms and hallways looking for one strong circular statement overhead, as well as stairwells and open plan living spaces where it can be mounted to a wall as a horizontal or vertical feature instead. Bover was founded in Barcelona in 1996, when Joana Bover turned a sketch drawn for an architect friend into the beginning of a lighting brand. The company still designs and manufactures everything from its base in Cardedeu, near Barcelona. Outdoors, Bover is known for pieces hand woven from synthetic fibre. Indoors, that same craft takes a different form in wood lattice fixtures such as the Dome family, built from more than 170 individually woven beech strips.
