The Roda PF/120 takes Bover's ring shaped silhouette and brings it down to the smallest size in the range. A continuous LED sits behind a fluted diffuser, so light spreads evenly around the whole circle rather than from a single point. It can be fixed flush to the ceiling or mounted upright on a wall, and works just as well as a single ring or paired with a second unit for a more layered look.

Two Diffuser Tones, One Brown Surround

Both versions of the Roda PF/120 share the same dark brown metal surround. The cream diffuser gives the lit ring a warmer, slightly ivory cast, while the white diffuser reads cleaner and more neutral once switched on. The frame stays the same either way, so the choice really comes down to the tone of light you want glowing round the edge.

How It Works

Light comes from a continuous LED ring rather than a replaceable bulb, running at 49W and 2160 lumens in a warm 2700K white with a CRI of 90 for accurate colour rendering. It's compatible with 1-10V dimming, and can be fixed flush to the ceiling or mounted upright on a wall. It ships with two spacer tube sizes, so several units can be spaced out and run together if you want more than one ring in a row.

Where It Works Best

At 1200mm across, the Roda PF/120 is the smallest fitting in the PF family, sized for hallways, landings and rooms where the larger PF/150 or PF/200 would overwhelm the space. Mounted on a wall, it works well as a piece of lit sculpture behind a chair or console table. Bover was founded in Barcelona in 1996, when Joana Bover turned a sketch drawn for an architect friend into the start of a lighting brand. The company still designs and produces its lighting in Spain, working from Cardedeu, just outside Barcelona. Outdoors, Bover is known for pieces built by hand from woven synthetic fibre, while indoors it applies a similar handcraft to intricate wood lattice fixtures such as the Dome family, built from over 170 individually woven beech strips.
