This version is finished in an antique brass plate, a warm, slightly aged tone that suits dark woodwork, brass hardware and warmer paint colours. The clear glass shade sits open around the bulb rather than frosted, so if you like the shape of the bulb itself being part of the look, this is the finish to pick. Because the brass plating is hand finished, expect a little natural variation in tone from one fitting to the next, which is part of its character.

How this wall light works

It's made from steel and glass and takes a single 6W E14 candle bulb, which is not supplied, so you'll need to add your own. It's dimmable provided you fit dimmable bulbs and pair the light with a compatible dimmer switch, giving you some control over how bright the room feels through the day and evening. As a Class I fitting it needs to be properly earthed, so installation should be carried out by a registered NICEIC electrician rather than taken on as a DIY job. The wall plate and glass shade arrive as one fixture, ready to be wired in once mounted.
