Utopia View Single Wall Light - Textured Black & Clear Glass

The View single wall light brings a clean, industrial edge to any exterior elevation. A textured black body is paired with a clear glass diffuser, giving the light a slightly raw, architectural feel rather than a purely decorative one. It is designed as a single wall mounted fitting, so it sits neatly beside a door or along a wall run without competing for attention.

The main body is made from die cast aluminium and steel, finished in a textured black that has a bit of depth and grain to it rather than a flat, uniform coat. Clear glass is used for the diffuser, which lets light spread cleanly outward instead of being softened or diffused, so the beam stays crisp. This pairing works well against brick, render or timber cladding, and suits modern or industrial style exteriors.

How This Wall Light Works

It takes a single 10W LED bulb with an E27 fitting, and the bulb itself is not supplied, so you will need to source one separately. If you want to dim the light, that is possible, but only when dimmable bulbs are fitted and used with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting is Class II, meaning it does not require a separate earth connection. As with any mains wired light, we would always recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician rather than tackling the wiring yourself.

Where This Wall Light Works Best

With an IP44 rating, this light is built to cope with splashing water, which makes it a sensible choice for exterior walls, covered porches, entrances and other spots exposed to the weather. It is intended for outdoor and exterior use rather than as a general dry indoor fitting, so think front doors, side passages, patios and garden walls where a bit of directional, architectural lighting makes a difference after dark.
