The Utopia Twist Medium Pendant is a ring shaped ceiling light built from slender, twisted rods of clear glass set inside a brushed gold frame. The twisted glass catches the light from every angle, giving the fitting a faceted look that reads as more than a plain hoop pendant. At 51cm in diameter it has enough presence to work as a real focal point over a table or kitchen island, without feeling overly large for an everyday room.

The frame is finished in brushed gold, a soft, muted tone that sits between warm brass and cool nickel, while the ring itself is made up of individually twisted clear glass rods. Steel and aluminium alloy give the frame its strength, and the clear glass keeps the light open and diffused rather than shielded. How this pendant light works

This pendant has an integrated 41W LED light source producing 1800 lumens of light at a warm white 3000K colour temperature, so there is no separate bulb to buy or replace. It is wired to Class II electrical standard and is compatible with trailing edge dimmer switches, so you can add dimming if your circuit and switch support it. The drop is adjustable between 45cm and 163cm on a 150cm cable, giving you room to hang it higher or lower depending on your ceiling height and how it sits over furniture below. As with any mains wired ceiling light, we would recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician. It weighs 2.7kg, so it is worth checking that your ceiling fixing point can take this weight before fitting.
