A classic wall light with a soft fabric shade
This wall light keeps things simple and traditional: a slim steel arm in a satin brass finish, topped with a fabric shade that softens the light it throws across a room. It is designed as a single wall mounted fitting, the kind of piece that works quietly in a hallway or either side of a bed without asking for attention.
About this finish
The satin brass finish gives the fitting a warm, understated tone that sits well against neutral walls and wood furniture. Paired with the cotton style fabric shade, it leans classic rather than contemporary, and suits homes where fittings are chosen to blend in rather than stand out.
How it works
The fitting takes a single 6W LED bulb with an E14 fitting, and the bulb itself is not supplied so you can choose the warmth and brightness that suits the room. It works with dimmer switches, but only if you fit dimmable bulbs, so check the packaging before you buy. As with any mains wired fitting, we recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Where it works best
Being rated IP20, this light is suited to dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms or outdoor spaces. It works well in living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways, either as a single accent or fitted in pairs either side of a mirror, headboard or doorway.
