Utopia Swirl Wall Light - Bronze Patina With Clear Glass

The Utopia Swirl Wall Light gives a wall a soft, sculptural focal point rather than just a source of light. Its steel frame carries a bronze patina finish, so expect gentle variation in tone and texture from one piece to the next, and a clear glass shade sits over the top, letting the glow diffuse outward instead of throwing a single hard beam.

Patina finishes are built up in layers rather than sprayed flat, which is why the surface has a slightly warm, weathered depth to it rather than a uniform sheen. Paired with the clear glass shade, it reads as a piece you'd choose for how it looks switched off as much as how it lights a room, and it works well alongside brass, aged metal or dark timber furniture.

How this wall light works

It takes a single 10W LED bulb with an E27 fitting, which is not supplied, so you'll need to add your own. It is dimmable, but only when fitted with a dimmable bulb and used with a compatible dimmer switch. As with any mains wired fitting, installation should be carried out by a registered NICEIC electrician rather than as a DIY job.

Where it works best

Its compact size, roughly 25cm high, 14cm wide and projecting 13.8cm from the wall, makes it easy to place either side of a bed, along a hallway, or as an accent in a living room, kitchen or dining room.
