Utopia Swirl Single Wall Light - Hammered Brass Plate & Textured Clear Glass

The Utopia Swirl Single Wall Light takes a simple single arm silhouette and gives it texture, wrapping a hammered brass plate around a textured clear glass shade. The hammering catches light unevenly across the surface, so rather than a flat reflective plate you get small glints and shadows that shift as you move around the room.

The brass plate is worked with a hammered finish, and because each piece is finished by hand, expect gentle variation in texture and tone from one fitting to the next rather than a perfectly uniform surface. The clear glass shade is also textured rather than smooth, softening the bulb inside into a warmer glow instead of a single hard point of light.

How it works

It takes one E27 GLS bulb, sold separately, and is dimmable when paired with a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer switch. At 25.5cm high, 14cm wide, and projecting 13.8cm from the wall, it sits close enough to the wall for hallways and tighter spaces. It is a Class II fitting that may need simple assembly on arrival, and we would recommend having it wired in by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where it works best

This is an IP20 rated fitting, so it is intended for dry indoor rooms such as living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways, used singly either side of a mirror or bed, or in a run along a corridor.
