The brass plate is hammered by hand, so no two pendants catch the light in quite the same way, expect small variations in the texture rather than a perfectly uniform surface. Paired with it is a clear glass shade with a subtle textured finish, which softens the look of the bulb inside while still letting plenty of light through. Together the steel and glass construction gives the piece a warm, tactile feel that suits both traditional and more contemporary interiors.

How this pendant light works

It takes a single 10W E27 GLS bulb, which is not supplied, so you will need to pick one up separately, ideally in a shape and finish that suits the open glass shade. The pendant is dimmable, provided you fit dimmable bulbs and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch. It is wired to Class I electrical standards, meaning it must be properly earthed, so we would always recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician. The drop is adjustable from 45cm up to 152.5cm on a 120cm cable, giving you flexibility for different ceiling heights, and the shade itself measures 19.5cm across. At around 2kg, it is worth checking that your ceiling fixing point can comfortably take the weight before installation.

Where it works best

This is an indoor pendant, well suited to living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways, anywhere you want a single, characterful point of light rather than a full ceiling flush. It works nicely as a pendant over a kitchen island or dining table, or lower down beside a favourite chair.
