Utopia Swirl Single Pendant - Brass Patina With Champagne Tinted Glass

The Utopia Swirl Single Pendant brings a soft, sculptural glow to any room with its gently curved glass shade, finished in a warm champagne tint that sits beautifully against a brass patina frame. It's a single pendant, so it works equally well as a solo statement over a small table or grouped in multiples above a kitchen island or dining table.

The Brass Patina Finish

This particular version pairs a brass patina frame with champagne tinted glass. Because the patina finish is applied by hand, expect some gentle variation in tone from piece to piece, part of what gives it that individual, characterful look rather than a flat, uniform shine. The glass has a soft amber cast that diffuses light into a warm, welcoming pool rather than a harsh direct beam. Steel and glass are the two materials used throughout, giving the fitting a good balance of structure and light.

How This Pendant Light Works

The fitting takes a single 10W LED bulb with an E27 fitting, and the bulb itself is not supplied, so you'll need to add your own before installation. It's dimmable, provided you fit dimmable bulbs. The drop is adjustable, from around 45cm up to 152.5cm, so you can set the hanging height to suit your ceiling and the space below it, and the shade itself has a diameter of about 19.5cm. As with any mains wired light fitting, we'd recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician. At around 2kg, it's also worth checking that your ceiling fixing point can comfortably take the weight before installation.

Where This Pendant Works Best

With an IP20 rating, this pendant is designed for dry indoor spaces rather than bathrooms or anywhere with moisture in the air. It suits living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways particularly well. Hung low over a kitchen island or dining table it makes a lovely focal point, while a single pendant in a hallway or bedroom corner adds a softer, more ambient layer of light.
