The Spire Single Wall Light brings together a vintage brass finished frame with a pale, marble effect shade for a look that feels a little more considered than the average wall fitting. It's a single light design, so it works well as an accent piece rather than a main source of light, adding a warm pool of glow wherever it's fitted.

This particular version pairs a brass toned metal body with a tapered shade finished in a soft white with a marble effect texture. The body is made from metal with a fabric shade, so expect the kind of subtle texture and gentle variation you get with handled natural materials rather than a flat, uniform surface. The neutral, brass and white colour palette makes it easy to sit alongside existing brass hardware, or against darker walls where the pale shade can stand out.

How this wall light works

It takes a single 7W LED bulb with a B22 fitting, and the bulb itself isn't supplied, so you'll need to add your own to suit the brightness and colour temperature you prefer. It's compatible with dimmable bulbs if you'd like the option to adjust the mood, though you'll need a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable bulb for that to work. As this is a mains wired fitting, we'd always recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician rather than attempting the wiring yourself.

Being a wall mounted single light rather than a ceiling fitting, it suits spaces where you want soft, layered lighting rather than one bright central source, think living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways.
